Work location: The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. However, engineers maybe requested to travel or relocate to U.S.A.
Job description: 
Basic work scope is to develop and finalize aircraft T/C design, compliant with all applicable requirements.
The candidate will work as a team member of the Interior Group, primarily supporting the seats, equipment and furnishings, galley, lavatory, safety equipment, and cargo teams.
Responsibilities: 
Evaluating the current aircraft design, with respect to compliance with the Interior related airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA, and EASA, which includes, but not limited to, the following:
• Design of interior (Monuments, Furnishings, and Equipment) and cargo components
LOPA (Layout of Passenger Accommodation) drawing and installation of Emergency Equipment
• Design and installation for interior and exterior placard & markings and external color schemes.
passenger seat, pilot seat, flight attendant seat, and observer seat
• Conducting verification and showing-compliance activities, such as design reviews, inspections, analysis, etc
• Conducting tests, witnessing tests and creating test reports
• Work with the other team members to identify and escalate aircraft and program certification issues to leadership and the company certification office as needed
• Review certification documents (including CPs, compliance reports, and IP/CRI/CAI positions, as an independent checker to ensure the quality of company certification products, prior to regulatory review
• Support alignment of company proposals to globally accepted standards for certification and compliance
• Conducting coordination with related parties such as JCAB, FAA, and EASA, related teams in the company, customers, and suppliers with respect to design and certification activities, including preparation of coordination materials
• Managing the schedule of certification activities with related personnel.
