Job description: 
Provide support for administrative projects and executives to facilitate verbal and written communication for Japanese-speaking and non-Japanese-speaking associates
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day office functions
Serve as the principle point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external contacts
Provide confidential support and perform under limited supervision
Perform administrative and secretarial duties and tasks
• Interpret for Japanese-speaking staff and visitors
• Translate documents and emails when needed to facilitate understanding between Japanese-speaking and non-Japanese-speaking staff
• Communicate with U.S. and Japan headquarters as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Language requirements: Japanese and English
Qualification requirements: 
Primary responsibilities:
• Native or near-native fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English
• 1+ years of secretarial and clerical experience in an office environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be self-motivated and have strong organizational and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Essential requirements:
• 2+ years of experience as translation support in a professional capacity preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task on a daily basis and deliver results within strict time frames
• Ability to work independently with general supervision
