Job description: 
Leads technical activities of the aircraft performance team to support documentation, analyses, performance software and tool development, and certification of aircraft, including AFM and FCOM development; includes interfacing with other aircraft functions, engineering teams, and partner companies to coordinate and obtain approval of any task assigned

If requested, perform other duties of the performance team, such as flight test-related activities, development of manuals (MEL and CDL), CAFM, and performance analyses

• Provide technical assistance for development and certification of aircraft, focused primarily on design development, including performance software and verification of aircraft performance characteristics; demonstrating and documenting compliance with all applicable regulations
• All tasks required to perform above activities are considered within the work scope; initiating and reviewing related documents, technical calculations, interface discussions with team members and other stakeholders including systems, structures, manufacturing, customer support, and partners
• Other tasks include assisting aircraft performance duties, such as analyses of specific phases of flight as well as the overall mission; support of flight test activities (data analysis, modeling, reporting); development of technical manuals (AFM, FCOM, MEL, and CDL) and CAFM; analyses of failure scenarios
• Provide expertise to assist with resolving performance issues identified during any desktop analyses, rig testing, and flight testing

Qualification requirements: 
• Minimum 10 years of broad engineering experience in other aircraft technical disciplines
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
