Qualification requirements

 • Minimum education is university degree with preference given to a master's level
 • 2 to 4 years related aviation experience required in any combination of the following areas: airline industry, aircraft operations, aircraft performance engineering, fleet planning, marketing and/or financial analysis
 • English language required, other languages are assets
 • Willing to travel on company business
 • Presentable, excellent customer interaction skills
 • Demonstrable analytical and computer skills required
 • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Description

As a member of the Sales & Marketing team, you are an experienced industry expert, expected to provide world-class solutions for our teams, our customers and prospects in support of marketing the regional jet family of aircraft against competitor types. You need to understand industry and customer needs in order to support all objectives of the marketing team.

Scope of responsibilities

The head office of an aircraft corporation, located in Nagoya, Japan is currently seeking to fill an open position for the role of Airline Marketing Analyst. As part of the sales & marketing team, the ideal candidate should be able to work independently while taking on full responsibility for marketing activities with assigned accounts. Duties include:
  • Conducting standard route performance analysis, economic analysis, traffic analysis, fleet planning, financial analysis and competitor evaluations using established processes
  • Identifying market opportunities and prepare business cases demonstrating the value of the regional jet family of aircraft
  • Developing models that accurately reflect an airline’s business environment and allowing for multiple scenarios to be evaluated
  • Developing and executing the marketing strategies for assigned accounts to support the sale of the regional jet family of aircraft
  • Providing insightful analysis, creating and delivering presentations to potential airline customers, external industry stakeholders and internal senior management
  • Taking responsibility for selected accounts and managing relationships with airline contacts
  • Managing multiple deliverables, deadlines and priorities subject to weekly review with management
  • Traveling to visit customers, usually with a team representing aircraft corporation or independently where relationships have been established

For these responsibilities to be effectively achieved, the ideal candidate would have demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking capabilities and possess problem solving, creative, analytical, and research skills. The ideal candidate should also possess the skills to create engaging presentation material and be able to express ideas and present data in a concise manner.

Travel required

Up to five days a week (home on weekends; based on project requirements)
