Qualification requirements

• 5 yrs. experience in a technical discipline related to Manufacturing and/or BS in Electrical / Mechanical engineering discipline
• 3 yrs. Industrial Controls Experience (Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC’s, etc.)
• Project Management Skills
• Familiar with reading various types of drawings. (Equipment Controls, Part drawings)
• A solid understanding of OSHA safety standards
• Proficient in MS Office

Description

This position requires that you be able to quickly diagnose equipment processes and problems. Have the ability to manage and control multiple projects. Use your experience to improve and develop better process and be able to setup new equipment for mass production.

Scope of responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing process
• Reduce machine downtime
• Improve part quality through material or process improvement
• Introduce new technology and innovation for new model
• Improve QI points
• Take project from planning stage to full implementation
• Work with cross functional team to solve problems (Kaizen team)
• Focus: Automation Equipment
• Support BQ Activity
• Identify and document process control point (equipment/process setting)
