Project Engineer within the Interiors Office - AS435MW

Work location

The primary work locations will be in either Seattle U.S.A., or Nagoya, Japan. However, engineers maybe requested to travel to support business needs as requested.

Reports to

Functional: Interior Program Manager
IPT: Interiors Office Group Leader

Qualification requirements

 • 5+ years of aerospace project experience, with aircraft interior knowledge preferred
 • Fluent in English, with Japanese language skills desirable
 • Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project)
 • Attention to detail and organized; ability to interact respectfully with others


Designated as project engineer within the interiors, engineering division. The responsible project engineer will work and support activities related to cabin safety interior systems. This will include interfacing with all other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain information of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft and interior system development and certification.

Scope of responsibilities

Establish and track KPIs that highlight bottlenecks
 • Identify performance concerns compared to plans
 • Maintain risks and opportunity register on sharepoint
 • Resource plan monitoring loading
 • Provide support to PM/GL tasks as necessary
 • Support Microsoft Project updates and weekly reports
 • Preparation of material and facilities for engineering meetings
 • Governance reporting work for PMO/EMO, daily/weekly/monthly
 • Track stakeholders and obtain correct information provided by them
 • Keep JCAB test schedule topical for CMO before submission
 • Prepare IPT PM reviews
 • Support budget planning and tracking
